The Blind Side

I watched The Blind Side and it was really good. I really liked this movie. Everything about it was good. What was really good about this was it was a true story and that’s what interested me more about the movie. This movie was about a kid Micheal oher didn’t have a home and didn’t know where to go at night. But when a kind women Leigh Anne Tuohy finds out about him so she welcomes him to her home and helps him out with his life. She helps him with his school work and football. After a while many colleges start giving him scholarships. He goes to college and starts to play for the NFL.

I liked mostly everyone in this movie. I liked Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) character she played her roll very well. The characters cast are well. They all played there parts well and since the movie was based on a true story the movie was pretty good and it made us pay attention more to the movie and the roles of the actors. The actors’ characters’ are developed because they all came out in the movie. They did there best to play this movie well to let everyone know what happened to this boy and about the family that helped him through out his life.

I liked how she raised Michael Oher as her own son. I also liked Micheal Oher (Quinton Aaron) character because how he acted like he didn’t know anything and all he was good at was football. I also like when he needed to get better in school to be able to play football. The conflict is about a homeless boy Michael Oher that doesn’t have home. Leigh welcomes him to her home and helps him with school. In the end he has to choose between to colleges he wants to go to Mississippi or Tennessee. He selects Mississippi but the NCAA suspect that he choose Mississippi because Leigh. He leaves and confronts Leigh and asks her if that was the only reason that she took him in for. So he can play for Mississippi. But she explains everything to him and they solve the problem and he still goes to Mississippi.

I think some piece dialogues are football. When he played football because that’s what he did best and that’s what he got into college for. There is chemistry between the characters for example how Michael started to treat Leigh family just like his own. He starts to watch out for them just as if there his family. The characters do interact well with each other because at the end when Michael and Leigh say good-bye to each other. They both got close to each other and Leigh starts to tear up when she says good-bye to him. So they got really close and interacted well with each other. The setting is Memphis.

The costuming in this movie affective. For example when Michael Oher didn’t have a home he would stay with the same cloths because he didn’t have money to buy new cloths. But until Leigh helps him out. This movie wasn’t all about the music but it had background music. Some props would be all the scholarships Michael Oher got. They used them for when he played football really good and many colleges wanted him to go to there schools. This helped him get better in school so he would be able to join that college. The stages are different and nice. I like how it was all about football and the scenes were actually interesting. I didn’t think I would like this movie because it was about football. But the stages where nice and they kept me interested the whole time while watching the movie. This movie was really good especially because its based on a true story. i think who ever does not know what to watch they should watch the blind side.

Precious

I watched Precious and I really liked it. Precious was about a 16 year old that gets pregnant twice from her father. She is also abused by her mother. The movie was mostly about Precious trying really hard to stay in school and taking care of her kids. The main characters are Precious (Gabourey Sidibe), Mary (mo'Nique), Ms. Rain (Paula Patton). The actors Characters developed in the movie they all played there part well in the movie. I liked Precious when she finally stood up to her mother.
I disliked Precious's mother Mary throughout the whole movie. I dislike how she's always telling Precious what to do and controls her in every way. But a really good part that I liked that Mary had in the movie was when she wanted precious back home and they where at Mrs. Weiss office. Mary had a really good part and it was really said but that wasn't an excuse for what she did to Precious but it was good. The characters cast were well they put all the effort in it and it was good. The conflict was Precious get pregnant twice by her father and her mother abuses her because she "stole her man". Precious tries to get through all that by going to school and taking care of her kids but ends up having HIV and that gets her really mad and she stops writing.
That is solved when Precious stands up to her mother and she stays in school and tries to get and education and take care of her kids. The plot is realistic. This happens to many girls and they should all do what Precious did stand up for yourself. so don't let anything stop you from what you want. I think the characters do interact well with each other because at the end of the movie Precious's mother Mary wants Precious to forgive her for what she did. Also when Precious got both of her kids and is ready to take care of both of them. There is chemistry between the characters between Precious and Ms. Rain. Ms. Rain tries to keep Precious in school so she can get a better education. I think one key piece dialogue was when Precious stood up for herself and continued her new life with her kids and an education. The setting was set in Harlem.
I think the costuming effective because the author was trying to tell us it was a while ago. The movie was set in Harlem in 1987 and I think thats what the costuming told us. The music went with how the mood was in the movie and it also told us the story by the music. Same with the lighting it told us the mood and the time of the movie. There was different stages in the movie. For example at school, at precious home, and when she ran away from home and went to Ms. rain. But there was one place witch was set in Harlem. some props the characters used was the journal that Precious had. She would write in it all about herself and Ms. Rain was the only one that read about it. That Journal was about Precious's life.
Over all this movie was great and it is one of the best movie I watched. who ever didn't watch this movie should it was a really good movie and I think I would watch this movie again on my spare time.

E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial

I watched E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial It was a good movie but not that intersting. It was about some alisns that came to earth and one of the aliens gets into a home of a family in California. Elliott witch is a young boy part of the family pertends to be sick the next morning he found the alien to avoid school so he can play with the alien.Later that day his older brother Michael and younger sister Gertie find out about the alien and meet him. Leter on in the movie they get attached to the alien and their parents find out about the alien and then the government finds out also. They try to find out a way to get the alien from everyone and take him home. At the end they find the space ship and let him go to leave back to where he's supposed to. I think the characters character's were well developed. The all developed their role very well. The characters did cast well.
Elliott was a ten year old boy who is always lonely and later on becomes very close to E.T. Michael is Elliott's brother he is a footballplayer he is sixteen year's old and is always picking on Elliot. Gertie is Elliott's young sister she is 5 year's old. At first she was very scared of the alien but gets used to it later on. I liked most of the characters in this movie but i dislike Elliot's brothe Michael because he used to always boss Elliot around but later on they got along. I also dislike Mary their mother because she freacks out about everything. I liked Elliot because he was caring and all he wanted was a friend. I also liked Gertie because it was funny how she was dressing E.T and teaching him how to talk.
The conflict was Everyone found out about the E.T even the government agent and they kept the E.T in a room alone. E.T was also dieing so Elliot and his brtother and sister tryed to get him out and take him home. When they get him out they take him to the space ship and say bye to him and he goes home safe. The characters do interact well with eachother because at the end Elliot's brother is nicer to him and they get along better. There is also Chemistrey in this movie between everyone. Elliot and his brother and sister and E.T. because of E.T they all got along better then they did before. The Setting was in California.
One key piece dialogue was when everyone found out about E.T and they all helped eachother to get him out and take him home before it's to late. I think the costuming told us that they movie was a while ago and that it was a normal family. The lighting in the movie was how it went throuh the day and how the mood or weather was. Same with the music. It went with how the mood was and it went good with how the movie was going. One prop they used was the bike around the end of the movie. it was used so Elliot can get away from the cops. Also the basket on the bike was used so E.T can hide in it so no one would see him in there.
Well this movie was pretty good. But I think what I didnt like about it was that I kind of got board in the middle of the movie. Then later on in the movie it got interesting.

The Lovely Bones

So I watched The Lovely Bones and I loved it. It was a really good movie I liked it a lot. We'll the movie starts out with Susie Salmon telling the us about herself and what happened to her. She introduces herself and her family. Susie was 14 years old when she was murdered. She was walking home from school when one of there neighbor George Harvey asks her to see what he had just builed and tell him what she thinks about it. She goes in and thats when she was murdered. Her parents start looking for her right away when they relize she was late. But they find out after a couple of days that she was murdered. They look for who it was but dont find anything.
Her dad goes carzy her mom leaves for a while and leaves everyone and her dad starts looking for evidence of who might of killed her. Her dad Jack Salmon and her sister Lindsey Salmon know it was George Harvey but the detactive tells them they need more evidence. They find out at the end that it was their neigbor George Harvey because susie's sister goes in his house and frinds a book with his plan to murder Susie, to me that was the best part I was so scared wondering if he was going to catch her or not I loved that part. Well in the end they find out it was him but he runs off before they police got him.
The actors characters are developed because there roles in the movie best fit them. The characters Cast is well because they all played the parts really well. They all played there parts with emotions and made us understand who they are talking about. I like Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) she was very good. She was the narrator telling her story and acting it and it was very good. I liked Jack Salmon (Mark Wahlberg) which was her dad and Lindsey Salmon (Rose McIver) which was her sister. There part were really good i really like how her dad got mad a started breaking the bottle boats that him and Susie used to build when they found out Susie died. I also liked her sisters part because she knew who killed Susie and she kept watching Mr. Harvey and she even went in his house and got evidence for the cops and that was my favorite part.
The major conflict in The Lovely Bones is when susie gets raped and killed by mr.Harvey. Also the struggles that her family has with her being gone also she does not want to go of to heaven yet until she is ready so she is in a place between Earth and Heaven. Her parents try to forget what happened to Susie when they find out what happened to her and who did it and she finally goes of to heaven. The characters do interact well with each other because they all wanted to find out who killed Susie and get evidence so they can put him in jail. There is absolutely no chemistry between them because the main character describes her killer which she highly dislikes. Some key pieces of dialogue were in one of the scenes the father of Susie confronts the killer and major tension arises.
The setting was a small town near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and some minor parts in New Hampshire and California. There was more then one stage there were different places like the school, forest, and more places. Some props were a safe cabin were the killer hid Susie when he killed her. Also the bad he put her in before he put her in the safe cabin. The music was put together well they had the slow music played in most of the movie because of Susie's death and everyone was upset and there was nice calming music when Susie felt better that her parents knew what happens to her so she went on to heaven. The costuming isn't effective because they dress like normal real life people. Thats pretty much it about the movie it was really good and I loved it and I think you guys should watch it if you didn't it was a good movie.

Jaws

To start of the movie I watched was Jaws. Jaws was a good movie but it was kind of got boring while I was watching like some parts were boring. This movie starts out in Amity island and there was a girl that was out on the beach late at night swiming when all of a sudden a shark comes out and eats her. The cheif of the island finds out it was a shark attack but the council of the island says it could be anything like a boat. But while people were swimming a shark attacks a little boy and he dies. Then fisher men go out to search for the shark to kill it.
The character i really liked was Chief Martin Brody his character was developed he wanted to help everyone out from the shark even though he didn't like the water. He went out on the ocean to chatch the shark so this whole mess would stop. The shark attacks were major conflicts nobody wanted to swim or go to the beach at all. Without people going out to the beach many people lose there businesses. The characters cast were well. I liked Police Chief Martin's character he was caring about what was going on from the first shark attack. He even went out to help catch the shark with other fisher men.
I dislike Quint's character he was weird and all he wanted was to get payed so he can catch the shark. I also like Matt Hooper's character he also wanted the shark to be caught. When they caught a shark he was sure that, that wasn't the shark thats been attacking and he didn't just quiet he kept on telling them that the shark they caught wasn't the the shark thats been attacking. The plot is a resort of Amity Island. The major conflit is The police chief of Amity Island, a resort town tries to protect the people from a giant white shark by closing the beach but the town council wants the beach to remain open to make money from tourists during the summer. But after several attacks the police chief insistes to the council to close the beach before any more attacks happen. The characters all interacted well with each other they all helped each other out to catch the shark thats been attacking.
I think some dialogue used in the movie were they wanted us to pay attention on the shark and what the shark was doing to all the people. It was on and Island in Amity. All this happens out on the beach, pond, and out in the ocean the movie was mostly in the water. It was all about the shark attack and catching the shark before anything else happens. The stages of this movie were out on the beach or ocean and I think somethings out on the ocean were to long out there. I think the music in this movie were perfect they had the scary music on when ever the shark would come around and they would let us know whenever the shark was about to come.
The lighting was also perfect they had it dark for the shark scenes and I think that was good. But this was an alright movie it got kind of boring while I was watch but I liked it and the ending was good and they ended it at a good part.

I watched Forrest Gump and it was an interesting movie and the ending was really good because I didn't think thats the way it would end. The movie was about a man named Forrest Gump and he is telling his life story at a bus stop to everyone that sits there. He tells them his story from when he was a child until why he was there at the bus stop. He tells them about how he meet Jenny, his mom, and when he went to war and when he played ping pong. The setting was Alabama. To me the actors' are Pretty much developed because the actors fit best for the characters role. I think the way Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) acting as a man with an IQ of 75 was very good he played the part very well.
Jenny’s acting was good she played the part well. Her acting when she was a little girl was also good. I think Dan in the movie was funny and he was also serious I think he played the part very good What I like about Forrest Gump was that he didn't quit he did everything to get to were he did.He also kept the promises he made and that’s what I like about him. I disliked Jenny's character because she was stubborn and she just kept on getting away from everything. I Liked Dan’s acting he was very good in the movie and he was serous. I like how he was mad that Forrest saved his life in war because he was ment to die but at the end he he for gave him The attributes Forrest Gump has is he is determined that he can run all over the U.S. The plot was Forrest Gump struggles in his life but his mom still thinks he’s a smart boy.
His IQ was 75 and he goes through all that with his best friend Jenny and she helps him with everything. He plays on a football team when he goes to college because he runs fast. Then he joins the army then leaves and gets rewards and then he inspires people to jog.
In the end he finds out that he has a son. The characters in the movie Forrest Gump interact well with each other because at first Forrest Gump and Jenny had a good relationship but as time went a long they seperated from each other. Also when Forrest meet Bubba in the army they became best friends and they wanted to open a shrimp boat but Bubba dies but Forrest still opens a shrimp boat
There is chemistry between Forrest and Jenny. Forrest keeps on thinking of Jenny when ever she’s away from him. Forrest also tells Jenny that he loves her and she tell him that she loves him too. The dialogue between Forrest and Jenny when Jenny told him her decission about her life. The conflict was Forrest's IQ is 75, he goes to war, the girl he loves keeps running away from him, his mother dies, and he has to deal with all of it. The costuming is effective because he sort of made a pact that he would continued threw out America without stopping. Therefor he didn't shave nor shower he just slept and ate.
There was more then one stage in the movie because Forrest decides to run all around America.
I think they used the feather as a prop at the begging of the movie. Forrest Gump picked it up
and put it in a book as a book mark. I think the feather did have a meaning but I didn't know
what it was. The music kind of goes with what the movie was about. The lighting was added
when it was nice and sunny in the morning outside. The movie was long but I really liked it and I
Enjoyed watching it.
